Day 4 addendum


One of my readers asked what sort of starchy veggies I am eating. Here is a sampling:
  • Parsnip
  • Plantain
  • Sweet Potato or Yam
  • Pumpkin
  • Acorn squash
  • Butternut squash
  • Green Peas
  • Corn
Also, some good grains and other choices include:
  • Triticale
  • Millet
  • Quinoa
  • Brown rice
  • Whole rye
  • Whole grain barley
  • Wild rice
  • lentils
  • dried beans
